Patient Guide download
Download Your Patient Guide to The Jiffy Bunion™
Our one-page Patient Guide walks you through The Jiffy Bunion™ minimally invasive bunion correction: what a bunion is, whether you may be a good candidate, how the procedure works and what your recovery looks like, step by step. Print it, read it at home and bring your questions to your visit with Dr. Moore.
Case 1
Case Study: A Bunion Corrected Through Tiny Incisions
Follow one right-foot case from start to finish. You will see the bunion on x-ray before correction, guidewires placed under live x-ray guidance, and the final x-ray showing the bone shifted into place and held with two screws. The closing images show the three tiny incisions, each closed with a stitch, and a top view of the foot at the end of surgery.
Case 2
Done in a Jiffy: One Surgery, Three Areas of the Foot
In this case, The Jiffy Bunion™ minimally invasive bunion correction was combined with additional procedures on the 2nd and 5th metatarsals, all through small incisions, each closed with a stitch. The before and after images show the same foot at the start and end of surgery, from the top and from the end of the toes. Tourniquet time for this case was 29 minutes; operative time varies by patient and procedure, so this is one case, not a typical or promised time.
